American National Announces New Financial Advisor in North Carolina

DANVILLE, VA – American National Bank and Trust Company is pleased to announce the addition of Gregory (Greg) Y. Ellington to its Trust and Investment Services Division. Ellington will be based at the 3101 S. Church St. banking office in Burlington, N.C., and will assume the role of Financial Advisor for North Carolina markets.

A Burlington native, Ellington most recently worked with the investment firm of Edward D. Jones. Previously, he worked in reinsurance following a career as a pilot and 10 years of service in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he earned the rank of major. An alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Ellington also obtained his MBA from Boston University. He resides in Burlington with his wife, Sonja, and their 7-year-old daughter, Kirsten. They are active members of St. Mark’s Church.
