American National Bank and Trust Company Names Matthew Hubbard SVP & Market President of Franklin County Market

 

Rocky Mount, VA – American National Bank and Trust Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Matthew Hubbard (Matt) to SVP and Market President of its Franklin County market.

Hubbard, a native of Rocky Mount, Virginia has over twelve years experience in the banking industry, including commercial lending, credit underwriting, and retail banking. He started his banking career with HomeTown Bank as part of its Westlake banking team prior to transitioning to commercial credit and lending. Hubbard has been with American National Bank since it acquired HomeTown Bank in April of 2019 where he quickly established himself as a relationship-oriented lender as well as a genuine leader.

After obtaining an undergraduate degree from Radford University in Economics, Hubbard received his MBA from The College of William and Mary in 2019. He is also a 2015 graduate of the Virginia Banker’s Association School of Bank Management.
